The ability to determine the age of young people has become increasingly difficult over the years which is why Oscar’s adopts the Challenge 25 Policy. This does not mean you have to be 25 to purchase alcohol from one of our bars. It merely means that If you are lucky enough to look under 25 then our staff will be asking you to prove that you are aged 18 or over when you purchase alcohol from us.

Please do not be offended as this policy is put in place for the safety of yourself & us.

Only the production of proof of age documents specified by law will satisfy the age verification policy. With effect from 1st October 2013, these are:

A Passport

A European Union photo-card driving license

A photographic identity card bearing the national Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) hologram

If you are under the age of 18 then you are committing an offence if you attempt to buy alcohol.
